TestClear powdered urine is ideal for those seeking a single-use synthetic urine kit at a lower price.
Compared to other synthetic urine products, TestClear’s offering is cheaper, but it’s important to note that this kit is only for one use.
While other kits often provide enough for two uses, this makes TestClear more costly if you plan to use it twice. The kit includes heating options, but preparation takes some time because the urine is in powdered form.
I purchased this kit to evaluate its reliability for passing a urine drug test. I’ll share the pros and cons as I see them.
Unboxing
I ordered my kit directly from the TestClear website. It arrived the next day, which was impressively fast. The package was discreet – a plain box with no indication of its contents.
To open the package, you need to tear off the top part. The material is quite dense and tough to tear by hand, so I had to use scissors.
Interestingly, the package features a zip lock, allowing it to be resealed. I’m not sure why this is necessary since the product is intended for a single use, but it does add a level of convenience.
Inside the package, there’s a vial of powdered urine, a plastic container for mixing, a temperature strip, and two toe warmers to help keep the mixture warm. The instructions are included as well.
I found it odd that the temperature strip wasn’t attached to the container. It seems like it would be more convenient to have it already attached.
Urine container
The urine container has notches to help measure volume, which is handy when you need to dilute urine. It holds up to 50ml.
The container is round, making it easier to conceal in the groin area of your pants or between your breasts if you are a woman.
I prefer flat bottles because they can be hidden elsewhere, but this one works well too.
I was concerned that the cap might not prevent leaks, as it seemed flimsy, but after testing it, I can confirm it’s reliable – there were no leaks, and it didn’t spill any urine.
The urine is provided in powdered form. You can make about 45ml of urine with the powder provided, but you can increase this to 75ml by adding more water.
This could potentially allow for two uses. However, there is only one heat pad in the kit. If you decide to use the kit twice, you will need to get a second heat pad.
Adding more than 75ml of water isn’t advised because the sample will become too diluted.
When I mixed it, the urine frothed and smelled just like real urine. It took about a minute to dissolve completely and was easy to do. I used validity test strips to check the mixture, and it passed, showing normal levels of pH, creatinine, and specific gravity, just like natural urine.
Temperature control
To keep the urine warm, Test Clear included toe warmers that should be activated and attached to the bottle.
They can reach up to 115°F, which might overheat the urine, so it’s important to monitor the temperature closely.
The toe warmers have a sticky side, making them easy to attach to the bottle without needing a rubber band or anything similar.
The temperature strip also has a sticky side for easy attachment to the bottle, ready for use.
Some temperature strips can be unreliable and show incorrect temperatures, which could cause you to fail a drug test. I tested this strip by placing it on a bottle filled with warm water and checking the temperature with a high-grade infrared thermometer.
As you can see in the photo below, the temperature strip in the TestClear powdered urine kit is accurate and reliable.
Instructions
The TestClear powdered urine kit comes with detailed, illustrated step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow.
They even include a phone number in case you have any questions. On the other side of the instructions, there are specific tips on how to keep the urine warm for a drug test. The instructions are clear and well-illustrated, making them easy to follow.
Drawbacks
The toe heaters can produce heat up to 115°F, which is higher than ideal for a drug test. This isn’t critical, but you must monitor the temperature before giving your sample.
Another downside is that you have to set up everything yourself, like sticking the temperature strip and mixing the urine, which takes some time.
The urine container could be better; I prefer containers with a flip-up spout cap. In the tense environment of a drug testing room, unscrewing the cap and pouring the urine into the testing cup can be challenging. A flip-up spout cap would allow you to do this easily and quickly.
Overall, this urine is suitable for one use. However, if you need it for multiple uses, I recommend options like Quick Luck or Sub Solution, as they are more cost-effective considering the amount of urine included.
How to use TestClear powdered urine to pass a drug test
First, you need to prepare the urine, which will take about 5-10 minutes.
Pour the powdered urine from the small vial into the larger 50 ml tube. Fill the tube with clean water to the very top.
I recommend using clean bottled water instead of tap water. Screw on the blue cap tightly. As I mentioned, this cap doesn’t seem completely spill-proof, so turn the tube upside down to check for leaks. Shake the tube until the powder is fully dissolved.
Apply the temperature strip to the front of the 50ml tube.
Open the heater package, peel the paper off one heater, and stick it to the backside of the tube, directly opposite the temperature strip.
Next, you need to hide the tube on your body. Remember, you will have to empty your pockets and remove unnecessary clothing before your drug test.
If the drug test collector notices anything unusual in your pockets, they might require you to submit the sample under direct observation.
Therefore, you cannot simply put the tube in your pocket. Place it in your underpants in the crotch area, which is the most common method. Alternatively, you can use a special stash leg belt or stash trousers for more convenience.
If you’re looking for a truly discreet solution, consider the Incognito Belt.
When you enter the drug testing bathroom, carefully retrieve the tube with the fake urine. Then, check the temperature strip; it should show a temperature between 90°F to 100°F (32°C to 38°C). Stay calm to avoid any spills. Carefully unscrew the cap of the tube, pour the contents into the drug testing cup, and then hide the tube again.
That’s all. Hand the cup to the drug test collector.
Is TestClear powdered urine real dehydrated urine?
Actually, no. I sometimes see mentions that it is just dehydrated human urine, but that’s not true.
However, the quality of the urine is excellent. It’s used to calibrate lab equipment, so you can be confident that this urine contains all the necessary ingredients to pass both the drug test and the urine validity test.
TestClear urine vs Quick Fix
Quick Fix is a budget brand that costs less than TestClear. For a small 2 oz size, which is almost the same volume as you get with TestClear, Quick Fix costs just $40. TestClear, on the other hand, is priced at $60.
With Quick Fix, you get a very basic formula:
- It contains urea and uric acid.
- It includes the right proportion of creatinine.
- It is balanced for pH and specific gravity.
- It looks like urine.
- It’s good enough, as long as it passes as normal.
However, I’m not sure if Quick Fix will pass the lab’s validity check. You get one heat pad as the source for maintaining heat. TestClear urine, in contrast, offers a high-quality formula that definitely passes the validity test. Consider for yourself whether you want to take such a risk.
The price for Quick Fix is appealing. If no other options are available, or if you are looking to buy locally, it’s the best option you will find. However, compared to TestClear urine, if you have the money, then there really is only one choice you should consider.
Conclusion
I recommend the TestClear Powdered Urine Kit as a reliable solution for those on a budget.
However, as I mentioned, it’s not the most economical considering the amount of urine you get. It does the job but has some downsides and requires preparation. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive solution, consider using the Incognito Belt or Quick Luck.
